The MedLab Experience

MedLabBased in Chicago, this study examines the effects of a high-tech, interactive educational experience on diverse urban youth. Of particular interest is the exhibit’s ability to shape young people’s STEM career interests and perceptions of belonging in those fields. This project is a partnership between the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, University of Illinois-Chicago, Northwestern University, and the University of California, Riverside and is supported by the National Science Foundation.
